Gopal Patwardhan

Gopal formerly served as the Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of the Girvan Institute of Technology, a technology development collaborative funded by the National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA), the US Air Force, and the Department of Energy. Prior to Girvan, Gopal was Director of the Technology Transfer Center at NASA Ames Research Centre in Silicon Valley. At Girvan, Gopal led the creation and development of a technology incubator and conceptualized the development of several high-tech cross-border companies. Gopal is Chairman of Autoline Industries Limited, a board member of Duke Aviation Engineering, Harig Crankshafts, Autoline Industrial Parks, Family Care India, TacForce Security Solutions, Transport Solutions India and Zagato (Italy). He holds a B.S. degree in Electronics from the University of Pune (India) and an MBA with a Concentration in Entrepreneurship from Santa Clara University (California).
